We first stayed at the Oceania Club the year it opened and had a fantastic holiday with my husband and son. Since then we have stayed at the Sani Beach Club and returned in 2011 again to the Oceania. The standard of the restaurants was extremely good along with the food choices. The rooms are large and very comfortable each time we have had the most amazing view of the sea with Mount Olympus as a back drop really stunning! We always stay 5* and it is only with Sani you know you are guaranteed a relaxing holiday the staff are fantastic they are very friendly but also very professional this is what makes them stand out. We hope to return soon maybe this time to try the Sani Hotel

My husband, two boys and I stayed at the Oceania in August 2011. We had a fabulous holiday, and thought it was a great hotel. The food was amazing - especially the Greek Taverna! And we thought the staff were all lovely, and most attentive. Our room was big and had a super view, and was cleaned every day, wtih towels changed twice daily. The children adored the pool, and playing squash with Dad! I had some very good massages in the spa. We thought the evening entertainment programme for children was particularly good. They made friends round the pool, as did we. Think we will try one of the other Sani hotels next year. G Harper

We stayed at the All-inclusive Oceania Club Resort in August 2011. A warm friendly receptionist greeted us with a glass of Champagne and talked us through the resort layout, we were taken by buggy to the room which was superbly furnished. Our 16 year old 6 ft 4 son, had the single bed in a Junior suite and we were worried that with experience of previous accommodation whilst on holiday, that the single bed may not be comfortable, he was more than happy and didn't complain once!... The swimming pool area by building 5 was never too busy and sunbeds always available, which is good for the middle of August. The bar staff were more than helpful and friendly. Evening meals were fantastic and plentiful. We tried the Greek Taverna and the Asian restaurant one evening each, and really enjoyed the food. The proximity of the resort to the private beach area is fab and although we are not beach lovers, found ourselves ambling down towards the beach some afternoons, the water was warm and the beach clean. I would not hesitate to return to Oceania Club.

We spent 2 weeks at Oceania Club as a group of 2 families (4 adults, 4 children). Our requests for rooms close to each other was noted and we had junior suites with sea views. My only concern pre-arrival was about the beds for the children (it was the only negative point on reviews I had read)- I neednt have worried - the children slept well the whole time. We were greeted warmly with a glass of champagne, the resort was explained to us and the room explained also on arrival there. The whole resort was exceptional, the staff couldnt do enough for us, the restaurants were great (although the booking for the a la cartes took some getting used to!). Pool and beach were great. The watersports were a little disappointing - broken equipment was not repaired. Entertainment during the day and evening were fantastic and the kids club exceptional - our children were asking to go there! We will be returning next year, without a doubt!!

We stayed at the Oceania in August 2011 and it was faultless. Everything was perfect and the young childrens pool was amazing. It is a large pool which is shallow and it gave my daughter the confidence to be in the water without arm bands for the whole holiday. She was swimming under water by the end of the week. The food was excellent and all staff are very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean. The entertainment team work very hard and the evening shows were great. We have recommended it to friends and family but wish now we had kept it secret. We shall return again.

We spent 10 days in an ideal location for all our different needs. Apart from the beach & pool, there was the gym & squash for the boys, & the Spa for the girls. For me - the buggy up from the beach! The all inclusive made the holiday very relaxed. There were plenty of sunloungers on the beach where the enegetic bar staff were continuing supplyig drinks. We all enjoyed the idea of being able to go to a different restaurant for dinner. We managed to fit in 1 Italian, 1 Asain, & 2 Greek! All the staff were helpful, polite and very keen to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. I will certainly recommend the 0ceania Club to family friends.

Great holiday. From our initial welcome onwards we were made to feel at home and relaxed. Things that stood out were the staff who were almost without exception excellent, the room (good sized deluxe jnr suite - perfect for 4 if your children our young), cleanliness throughout, the 3 onsite restaurants and the block 5 pool and bar. The few negative comments I had read on trip advisor before travelling about the restaurants being difficult to book and the beach (crossing a road and sea anemones)are nonsense, we always had a choice of times for the restaurants even in late July, the beach and sea are lovely and the "road" is a single lane track! My only minor niggles would be that after two weeks we were beginning to tire of the main restaurant food, and please buy a better lime cordial... it spoiled the mojitos and caipirinhas! Thats it - everything else was great.

We have been twice to the Oceania once in October 2008 and then again last year in June. Our first trip was a stab in the dark. I had read an article about the hotel in a national newspaper and really liked the look of it. I dont really like package holidays so I booked the flights and contacted the hotel directly. They were courteous from the outset. We were taking our daughter, then 2 1/2 years old, abroad for the first time. Our BA flight was great and we were met at the airport with a taxi with the correct carseat. Everything at the hotel from the minute we got out of the car until we were taken back to the airport was faultless. Food, room, staff, entertainment and facilities were excellent absolutely faultless. We returned in 2010 and booked in the same fashion. Periklis Gompakis was kind enough to arrange for us to have the same junior suite as before and also organised gifts and reservations for Fathers Day when we were there. We will visit the Oceania again very soon and I hope we can also visit the other Sani properties. I advise anyone wanting a perfect holiday to go the Oceania. Just got back from a wonderful week at the Oceania. Having read the reviews we was expecting a lot and it certainly lived up to expectations. All the staff were extremely friendly and we were welcomed to the hotel with a glass of champane. Everywhere in the hotel was clean and tidy and the food was excellent. We picked this holiday for the childrens clubs that were offered as we have 2 children aged 11 & 13 and wanted to make sure that they were well catered for, unfortunately due to lack of interest in the activities for the teenagers club none of the activities actually took place. Having said that we had a great time and we would go back again.

Having stayed at many all inclusive resorts around the med I thought I should drop you an email to say how fantastic our stay was at the Oceania Club & Spa. It really is an ultra all inclusive where everything is catered for. The kids loved it and we could not fault the resort. Especially when we checked in we were greeted with a cold glass of champagne. The rooms were fresh and clean, we stayed in a Junior Deluxe Suite which was well worth the extra money as we had access to the privilege pool which is lovely. The entertainment was great for a family and the good really was amazing. We cant wait to come back and have already booked for 2010. Well done Sani Holidays, thanks for the memories. Darren and Hayley.

Just wanted to get in touch to let you know how much we enjoyed our holiday at the Oceania Club in Halkidiki. The hotel, food and staff were excellent and we had a thoroughly lazy and wonderful time, only getting off our sunbeds to go for lunch and to go in the pool to cool off. Everything went really smoothly from arriving at Thessaloniki airport with the taxi transfer. I recommended you to all who we spoke to as we were very happy with your help and the good service that you provide. Could you please let me know if there are any good offers for this hotel for next year as we would very much like to go there again and friends and family would like to go too. Thanks a lot for everything.

We stayed here in June and was by far the best hotel we stayed in.When we arrived we were given a glass of champane and our cases taken to our room for us.The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly, there was always staff by he pool or the beach on hand to top up your drinks or anything else you wanted. We stayed in the cheaper rooms but still had a lovely view of the sea.It was my birthday when I was there and I was given a bottle of champane and a cake was left in my room which I thought was a lovely touch. We had read it was a pain to get in the three al a carte restuntants we had on problems the asian one was the best! The only bad thing was the town next to the hotel,we had a look around, this was not a tourist town at all but very much a working one with not alot in it but hardware shops. But it was no hardship to stay in the hotel grounds. The reps worked hard to make sure your stay was happy and the entertainment was good.Would love to stay here again well worth the money we paid.

We have just returned from a truly wonderful holiday experience at the Oceania. The hotel and staff were all fantastic, they could not do enough for you. The service was impeccable and hotel is faultless. Everything from the rooms, the views, the pool, the entertainment and the food exceeded our expectations. I cannot thank you enough for the fabulous time we all had. There were 5 of us aged between 3 and 63 and every one of us loved every second of our holiday. We absolutely plan on returning and have already recommended to all our friends back home. Thanks again Sarah Thank you so much again.

We have just returned from our second stay at the Oceania, and as always it was amazing. We got married at the hotel last year and it was definitely my dream wedding day. The hotel is stunning and immaculate and the views are breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, they make you feel extremely welcome. The food is gorgeous and plentiful and the A La carte restaurants are fabulous, (Greek, Asian and Italian) they just keep topping up your glasses and feeding you, all night long if you wished! Needless to say i am now on a diet until we return again next year. The entertainment staff are brilliant, the shows they put on in the evening are top class, we watched Mamma Mia this time and absolutely loved it. I used the Spa last year for my hair for the wedding and had a few treatments and again the staff were brilliant. The hotel is definately 5 star if not more! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Book now, you will not be dissapointed!

We went to the Oceania in May 09, this was our first visit. We had a week and stayed in a double room. The food is extremely good, no-one could be disappointed, plenty of choice and it was cooked to a high standard considering it is buffet food. The rooms were very clean, big, bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space, decent veranda, very good. The resort offers good entertainment in the evenings, service of the staff are second to none. All in all it lives up to a 5* rating. We were so impressed we are booking for a week next May. It is a nice place to chill out regardless of age. Go and suss it out yourselves you will not be upset you went.
