This was our first holiday since the birth of our daughter (8mths at time of travel) so understandably we were a little apprehensive and didnt know what to really expect. Having researched various resorts at length, we choose Sani Asterias Suites based on both other feedback from Tripadvisor and details on their own website.
My wife and I have been fortunate to stay at many luxury resorts around the world so had high expectations as the "suites" was quoted as a 5 star resort.
We were NOT disappointed!! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the resort manager, the whole experience was first class. The attentiveness of the staff is up there with the very best and this, together with the facilities (creche, babysitting, meals etc etc etc) available for parents with young families make this a MUST. Our suite was very comfortable and fronted the beach so afforded great views.
The resort itself is also excellent. At the centre of the resort is the marina, surrounded by many different restaurants, shops etc. Excellent facilities for sport and recreation e.g. tennis school, soccer, volley ball and so on.
A wonderful holiday with our daughter and we are certainly looking forward to returning!

I cannot recommend Sani Asterias Suites highly enough. This was our first holiday abroad with our 1 year old daughter and was looking for a relaxing holiday. Sani Asterias could not have made the stay better, the room was fantastic, the service...impeccable. Our every need was catered for sometimes without even asking. Kevin and his team really do make you feel at home and at ease. My wife and child are vegetarians and were very well catered for, the room service would create new dishes to accomodate them. The beach was lovely and very spacious, the ocean was clean and shallow so perect for our little one to paddle in. My wife and I have travelled extensively and would not normally go back to the same place/resort, however, Sani asterias is an exception. We are already planning on returning next year.

I'd highly recommend Sani Asterias Suites. It achieves the holy grail of being both a luxurious and stylish hotel for adults whilst also being incredibly child-friendly. The service is excellent without being stuffy. The breakfast buffet is definitely the best weve ever encountered. The restaurant/bar setting is lovely - good views over the marina but private and peaceful. The seaview suites are wonderful - private garden with your own sunloungers but with a gate right onto the beach. As parents with a toddler this meant we could relax in the sun whilst our child napped safely in our room but be on the beach within 2 minutes once she woke up! This was our first family holiday to a hotel and I wasnt sure what wed make of it but I think the best compliment we can give it is that we are already talking about going back next year. From the moment the holiday was organised everything just fell into place - arriving at the airport in Salonica our taxi transfer was waiting to get us to the Hotel smoothly, There are no words to express the level of service care and attention that you receive at Sani Asterias Suites. Kevin and his team certainly ensured that from the moment you arrive that you are being spoiled and that continues throughout tour stay. Without a doubt the most exclusive location to be on the resort, breakfast overlooking the marina and drinks on our own private terrace watching the sunset over the sea. This time we had a Beach front suite which meant our own garden and straight onto the beach. We visited the Water Restaurant in Asterias Suites during Sani Gourmet and had some delightful cuisine and an opportunity to sample some of the finest Greek Wines. We also visited Alexis Taverna during our stay situated on the Marina and yet again we were spoiled with some wonderful home cooked dishes. We will certainly be back very soon and look forward to the great hospitality the team at Asterias and across the Resort and next time it will be our 4th Visit... !

This is a most wonderful resort. We have stayed before at Porto Sani about 7 years ago, and we thought that was the best holiday we ever had, but the Sani Asterias Suites was something else altogether. I could not criticize a single thing. The rooms and location were wonderful The staff are both friendly and professional. Our Poolside waitress remembered our names and drinks. There was plenty of towels by the beach and pool and everything was clean and beautiful.
We stayed at the start of May and we were worried about the weather and temperature of the water, but both were absolutely fine.
Lastly, we also have a 4 year old child with severe disabilities (Cerebral Palsy and blind). Both the travel company and Sani were very helpful to us in this respect. The resort itself (with the exception of the Sani Beach Club) are well suited to Wheelchair use. There are very few hills or steps, and there are always staff more than willing to help you out. The Golf carts are also amazing and make you feel like you have won the lottery.
All in all if you can afford to stay here you will not be disappointed. This was simply the best holiday I have had and will probably ever have (unless I can afford to stay here again).

No 48 Sani Asterias Suites
These are idyllic personalised suites in a gated community, which are cleaned daily and supplies replenished daily just a stroll to the perfect beach which is peaceful by 11 am with sun beds and umbrellas, calm sea just 20ft away, with a short stroll to the marina and view the spectacular yachts surrounded by good restaurants and decent shops with friendly staff. a truly exotic destination, well worth the cost.
